Dear Fellow Counselors,

I recently became aware of a resource available to help students with the college search process. Below is information regarding a website called CollegeWeekLive .
CollegeWeekLive is a free, online college fair where you can:
  • Register for free, only once, and have unlimited access to any information on the site, anytime!
  • Insider Advice from experts on how to get into the right fit schools for you
  • Chat live with admissions reps and current college students at over 450 colleges and universities
  • Scholarships – over $3 million for students from participating colleges and CollegeWeekLive

CollegeWeekLive is a great way for students to connect with college representatives as they explore the many post-secondary opportunities availbale to them.

The free, online college fair primarily take place during after school hours so not to interfere with students academic learning.

Anyone can register and access the many resources available through CollegeWeekLive.

On Thursday, May 24th, Pennsylvania Colleges Day will feature schools throughout the state of Pennsylvania. There will be live presentations and chat sessions that will appeal to students, parents, and counselors, and opportunities for scholarships as well from 1-8pm. If you or any of your students are unable to participate in Pennsylvania Colleges Day, do not worry. CollegeWeekLive keeps an archive of all the college fairs it hosts. Therefore, you can access the information at anytime.

Below is information I received from my CollegeWeekLive contact, Miriam Iken. Miriam has been great at educating me about the site and helping me to navigate each area of CollegeWeekLive. I highly recommend contacting Miriam if you have any questions. She can be reached directly at (617) 938-6060, or you can email her at miken@collegeweeklive.com.
